Our next scheduled meeting...will be July 19: 7:00 pm - Regular Meeting, location at Señorita Burrita, 227 North Prince Street, Lancaster, PA 17603We support the good fight that 2006 Green Party Candidate Carl Romanelli is taking on. The Lancaster Green Party has gotten some local press. See a story about our first meeting in the March 11, 2010, issue of The Elizabethtown Advocate. See our Chair's letter to the Editor of The Ephrata Review from March 24, 2010, concerning Bonusgate. To be kept up with the latest news and information about the Lancaster Green Party, please join our mailing list. Welcome to the website for the Green Party of Lancaster County. We are building a local structure of political influence and governing that is a true alternative to our current two party system in accordance with the State and National Green Parties. Our bylaws draft has been updated and are on the bylaws page. Please with any suggestions. We will vote to accept them at our next meeting. If you are interested in running as a Green Party candidate, please contact us... there is a lot of experience and energy in our group to help with the effort. Also, as the election time draws near there will be efforts to help other locals with petitioning drives for candidates in nearby counties. Also, there is a statewide candidate Mel Packer running for US Senate, who can use our help in getting him on the ballot in Pennsylvania. Please contact us or show up at our meetings if you are interested in helping in these efforts. Even if you are very busy, just a small investment of time over a long period of time can make a big difference. You will learn a lot and get to know your community in a way most people will never see. Sincerely, Lancaster County Greens |
